I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. In 2001, I moved to Minnesota to attend dental school, and my wife, Jodi, joined me from Seattle in 2005. I graduated from dental school that same year. In 2006, I completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center, followed by a mini-residency in esthetic dentistry in 2008.
From 2006 to 2024, I worked at the University of Minnesota, providing care to students and staff. My wife and I lived in St. Paul for several years before moving to Eagan, where we have been since 2013.
We have a sixteen-year-old daughter, Kate, and a twelve-year-old son, Jake. Our family also includes two cats, Penny and Wally, and our German Shepherd, Luna. During the warmer months, you can often find me biking or swimming with my kids.
